Great work shoe - Very happy with comfort and fit of shoe. I ordered full size larger than normally do because shoe does not come in half sizes. Still the feel is good and does not wear badly. I have bad knees and plantar fasciitis…these shoes are excellent in keeping these problems in check. I work 10 hours - standing job. If they hold up well, I will be buying more. Only thing I did not like is the “Dutch” look because I usually wear skirts.
Most Comfortable Shoe Ever - I have worn Dansko clogs almost every day for the past 6 years. My heels used to feel sore when I stood for too long, but with Dansko I can stand for hours with no problem. They are great for walking as well. They make you taller too! The only reason I didn’t give this particular pair 5 stars is that they were narrower than my old pair, and don’t feel quite as comfortable.
I absolutely love this clog. I have only one problem. They do take time to ‘break in’. I am a B width…but…I have small bunions. Because the clogs are such hard leather, there is very little give in the clog. After a full day on my feet, my feet ache a bit. Otherwise, they are wonderfully comfortable. I love the fact that they give me additional height without having a high heel. Once they are fully broken in I know that I will live in them. I plan on getting them in black & having them stretched slightly.
Worth the price! I’ve tried several knockoffs of this shoe and they don’t compare to the comfort you get in the Dansko. I’m pretty tight with my money, hence the knockoffs, but these shoes are worth every cent. The deciding factor for me though was when they went on sale. I wish I had ordered the oiled in brown as well. If you’re on the fence…go for it. You won’t be sorry.

If you do have a high arch, they may be a little tight across the top of your foot, but my have stretched & are now more comfortable. I did not notice the heel slipping up and down as others have written. My Dansko’s do not slip up and down at all & have a small/regular bone structure. They are a little heavy & slightly clunky. They are not so good for running after little children or pets. They have held up well in rain with no water stains. I would definitely purchase these shoes again.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 and it fits fine other than a little larger than I normally wear. Unable to get used to these - I have tried but these clogs are “hard”. If you want cushioning then these are not for you. They look great but my feet hurt and cannot wear them for more than a couple hours, because my feet hurt. I don’t have wide feet but these seem to be narrow. My worst complaint is they have no cushioning so how can people stand and wear these for 12 hours a day? I really want to wear and enjoy these shoes but I need comfort. I wish I would bought the Earth shoes instead. Everyone I know that have Dansko’s love them. I will keep trying to wear these because I adore how they look.

At this point I have three pair (in different colors, naturally) and with all the shoes and sandals in my closet, these clogs are all I wear now. Once you get past the feeling, as you slip into them, that you’ll end up with blistered heels, the feeling disappears and it’s like you’re barefoot (but with more of an arch); there is nothing constricting about this shoe. Your heel will slide up, which it’s meant to do, and not rub or touch the back of the shoe. They do run true to size. If you’re on your feet all day, try a pair of these - they’ll end up as favorites.
Great Comfort for Bad Backs! These Dansko clogs were recommended to me by a friend who is a nurse and on her feet all day. I am young and athletic, but I have a bad back and neck. And I work long hours on my feet all day. I have been incredibly happy with these Dansko�s. I think they look great with jeans and corduroys. I see a lot of medical professionals wearing them and they swear by them. And the oiled surface is great; it is so easy to make them look brand new again! I am size 10, had to buy the 41.
My brown oiled Dansko clogs - I am very happy overall with these shoes. I like their rugged look; the shoes have very good arch support and I can walk in them with good comfort. The only drawback for me was with the left foot in the forefoot area; there a pressure point under my forefoot and it sometimes hurts. I would buy a second one in black anyway because of the ease and overall comfort. I love the fact that this is a clog and yet it is more like a shoe- they don’t slip off and yet I am able to take them off easily. I am a 37 and a half and I bought the 38, which fits me perfectly with thin socks or no socks.

Unable to get used to these - I have tried but these clogs are “hard”. If you want cushioning then these are not for you.
