  1. Omaha, Nebraska Says:

Wood clogs have met their match… Usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 shoe depending on the manufacturer, as recommended tried a 38 in the Pro Oiled; my feet were swimming in them, with about 1 1/2 inches of space between my heel and the back of the clog. Tried a 37 and found my ideal. Soles are a little hard but that’s why they’re called clogs! These, my first Danskos, are way more comfy than my wood-soled Mengens from my college days. Waiting for the oiled leather to soften up a bit- a little snug around my bunions. Would like to buy another pair soon- if only they weren’t so expensive!

  2. Sue, B Says:

I have talked many of my friends into wearing them. I’ve even turned my daughter on to them. She and I have never liked the same types of shoes. When I saw that they came in hunter green I had to have them. I love them!!!!!!!!!

  3. New York Says:

These are THE BEST shoes if you will be on your feet ALOT. They are not the most comfortable for walking, but they provide incredible back support for standing around. I am a health professional and have stood on hospital rounds for literally hours with no back pain and very little foot pain. I love these shoes so much that I have 4 pairs! Be aware that the shoe fits normally with extra space in the back- that is how they are supposed to fit.

  4. Colorado Says:

I really like these shoes! I started my student teaching and went home every night with very sore feet. A teacher recommended these shoes to me, so I though I would give them a try. I do not come home with sore achy feet anymore. Although once in awhile the right shoes rubs the top of my foot making it a little uncomfortable.

  5. Central Coast, California Says:

My Feet Are So Happy- I walk and stand eight to nine hours a day (sometimes more) in a kitchen environment. Even in my off time, I don’t like to wear any other shoe because my feet feel so good in these. I have my battered kitchen pair, a snazzy red pair for my off time and I’m thinking about getting a third so I can rotate.

  6. Marge Says:

I have a hard time buying shoes, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, my feet are the worst, I have not worn real shoes in a few years, I tried Danskos, two different styles, and I can wear either pair, without having a lot of pain. I am happy to have found shoes that I can wear and that are nice looking, not granny shoes.

  7. Ferrara Says:

I have a pair of these in black that I have loved and worn hard for 5 years. I bought a pair in brown to add a new color, and they are just as comfortable as my old ones! They are great for people on their feet a lot, good in all sorts of weather, and require no maintenance.

  8. Ruth Says:

Great… they don’t “shine up” though- Agree with the reviewers that this is a wonderfully comfortable shoe. Mine were looking a bit dull and worn out; so, my husband (an Army man) tried to spit shine them. It’s impossible- they’re not meant to be shiny. Even so, I highly recommend them Dansko Georgia Boots. They look perfect!

  9. Georgia Shoes Says:

Break-in time REQUIRED- I got my first pair and they felt great upon first slipping them on. All excited about them, I wore them to work. 2 hours into my shift my feet, legs and back hurt like I had already worked 8 or 10. I could NOT understand the hype about these… I hated them and the fact that I thought I made a $118 mistake. I wore them here and there running errands over the next few weeks thinking there’s got to be something I can do to make these work for me during my work shifts. Nearly 2 weeks after receiving them, I tried them again at work… fabulously, they were a dream! Nothing better! No leg, feet or back pain/tightness at all after my work shift… no other shoe does that for me. I’m on my second pair of Dansko’s, which I just ordered a few days ago (awesome Zappos shipping) and yet again, my new shoes are horribly uncomfortable and require a substantial break-in period. I’m looking forward to when these are what I crave. I have a low profile, slightly narrowed-medium width foot and flat feet with a small heel. The pain that these new shoes give me is under my foot, mostly in my arch and across the balls of my feet, it’s terrible. I can’t wait to when these shoes feel like butter like my old ones do. My rating is reflective of my feelings of my older pair.

  10. San Antonio Says:

Great on concrete floors! I am on my feet all day on concrete floors at work and these shoes provide great support and cushioning. One word of caution: if you plan to wear them with socks, be prepared to try several different pairs of socks before you find one that won’t twist or scoot around as you walk around.

  11. Sacramento, Ca Says:

The little nubbins in the footbed came as a surprise. Lots of support but a soft feel and a bounce when walking. After walking around Yosemite for a day not only was I used to them but managed to not have sore feet. Or a sore back, legs etc. I will have to invest in another pair for work. There are prettier shoes but these make me smile.

  12. Julie, Downers Grove Says:

Great for multi-purposes - This is my first pair of Crocs and while they don’t run narrow enough, they do stay on with the ankle strap. They are wonderful for around the house and will be perfect at the beach, but would appreciate a little more built-in arch for support. I find I do like the look and the taupe/tan color goes with everything. Can’t wait to wear them on my car trip to FL.

  13. Texas Says:

Not for me - I don’t care how comfortable these shoes might prove to be, there were too ugly for this short, plump person to sport on her feet. I have a friend with long slender legs (calves, esp) and she looks cute in these with skirts, pants, whatever. But if you are short and have wide feet, these are going to make you look like you’re wearing two cinder blocks on your feet. Not worth it, when there are comfortable cute shoes out there. They ran short, too.

  14. Natalie Says:

Not bad, but Quark better - I just tried the Cayman style in size 9 women’s…I just did not see the comfort that others rave about, and it ran big too! I have tried the Quark Liberty and it is still better quality and comfort, I will go back to them for a new color for fall.

  15. Midwest Says:

Goofy Shoes - I refused to jump on the Crocs bandwagon, citing “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, but found myself shuffling around in my husband’s Crocs. So, if I am going to wear them, even just to take out the trash, I had to have a better color. I am usually a 9-10 depending on the shoe. These run large. I should have gotten the 8-9 instead of the 10-11.

  16. West Virginia Says:

Fun and comfortable…it doesn’t get any better!! This shoe is so comfortable and so much fun, especially if you decorate them with the jibbits!! I have the shoe in 3 different colors and for some reason the purple shoe isn’t as comfortable as the other colors.

  17. Top D Says:

The best for messing around! We are dog-walkers/pet-sitters… Even after we come back into the house and take off our heavy-duty hikers, we still need to keep shoes on our feet just in case a dog gets out and we have to give chase… these shoes allow our feet to rest and breathe, the nubs on the bottoms massage your foot a bit, but still give us the flexibility to run out into wet grass, etc should the need arise. Should have bought these a long time ago…we’ve got our whole family wearing them! (Now if only they made them for dogs!)

  18. Laurie Says:

Love ‘Em… I was very happy with this purchase. I have wide feet (D width) and was concerned they would be too tight… but they fit fine. It’s like walking barefoot on a very cushioned floor. I love them… and will be ordering more.

  19. Marnie, New Jersey Says:

The most comfortable shoes EVER!! I bought these to wear at work…and I haven’t taken them off since I got them. Believe the Hype! These shoes are awesome! I am going to buy them in every color, and I think I may have more…because I can’t wear them in the snow, and I need to wear them every day for the rest of my life.

  20. New Hartford Says:

I love them; they are the most comfortable and light weight shoes I have owned. I work in the medical field and I am on my feel a lot. The Crocs are great for that. I also bought a pair for both my daughters and they love theirs as well. They are great for running out the door quick.

  21. South Florida Says:

I have relatively narrow feet and take a half-size. The next size up won’t stay on my foot, and the back strap doesn’t even come close to my heel. The size down has my toes hitting the front, but I have to wear thick socks to keep them on my narrow feet. But I do like Dansko Georgia Boots. Since they fit so poorly, it’s hard to judge comfort, and I use them only for short periods. If Crocs ever decides to make half sizes, I might try them again.

  22. New Jersey Says:

There is a difference - I ordered 2 pairs of Crocs Cayman. The first pair felt great, but when I tried on the second pair there was a huge difference in the fit. Both pairs looked the same but when I turned them over I found 1 pair was made in Bolder, CO and the 2nd pair was made in Mexico. The Mexico shoe was huge so I returned it.

  23. Michigan Says:

Wonderful- I love Dansko and Zappos! I tried ordering these same shoes from another online source & after 2 months, they still hadn’t shipped my shoes. I had my shoes from Zappos in 2 days!!! This is my 2nd pair of clogs and 5th Dansko shoe (3 sandals). My feet love them as well as my knees and my back. I stand straighter too. At 5′11″, my Dansko help me to really stand out in a crowd, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I prefer function over form and these shoes function perfectly. I stepped into them and went off to teach my night class. I had myself sized at a local department store that sells Dansko and they suggested for the clogs to go up a size, so my clogs are 41. My sandals are 40. Both fit great. By going up in size, by foot is able to move freely without my toes getting jammed in the toe box. My favorite shoes!!

  24. Cindy W Says:

They are great! I have found this shoe to be quite comfortable. I am really enjoying them. It took a little while for me to get used to them since I had never worn them, but I love them. I recently sprained my ankle badly, so I needed shoes with really good support. This shoe has proven to give me great support. I only wished that more of the shoes came in the narrow width.

  25. Cincinnati Says:

Yet again, Dansko rules- This is my third pair of Dansko clogs and I can’t say enough great things about them. If you are on your feet all day, and you can shell out money for a pair of shoes, these will not disappoint. At the end of my work day, I may be tired and hungry, but I never ever have sore feet and or calves. Ever! Highly recommended.

  26. Dctexan, Atlanta Says:

Great shoe- sizing can be tough- I am a true US size 6.5 and I first tried these shoes in size 37. Although comfortable, they were VERY loose and I knew there was no way I would be able to safely walk the dog in them. So, I got a size 36. The size 36 is slightly too small (my toes touch the end of the shoe although my heels still slip up and down as they should). However, they are still comfortable and I feel more secure (I really dislike feeling like I am going to kick my shoes off when I walk). One thing about the size 36 is that I do not feel as much arch support as I did in the 37 (maybe because they are too small?). Also, these shoes wobble on uneven (i.e. off road or cobble stone) terrain. I think this is part of the rocker design. Despite these complaints, I still love the shoe (looks great and still more comfortable then most other shoes) and I am extremely glad I have them. Really wish Dansko did half sizes.

  27. Cali Says:

I’ll NEVER be without- My Dansko’s are my favorite comfort shoe of all time and I’m on my 5th pair… and that says something, they last and last. I’m a fit ER RN and work 12 hr shifts so having a supportive shoe that keeps my feet, legs and back happy is vital. Nothing compares to Dansko’s professional clog. I have medium width, flat feet, a knee w/multiple ligament reconstructions, rotated and uneven hips and a very shapely spine so needless to say, when I go without my Dansko’s I can tell a difference. At the end of 12 hrs my body may need sleep, but I don’t need to sit down because I’ve been standing all day. I love fashion and can’t live without my stilettos, but these are the only shoe I wear when not in my heels… I even prefer them to going barefoot they feel so great. Running shoes, sandals… all are no comparison for Dansko clogs as far as support and comfort. Not so stylish, but certainly not ugly, these classic looking clogs are still a bit feminine with nice pants or jeans. I’ll NEVER be without.

  28. Maryland Says:

Great Shoes- This is actually the second pair of Dansko’s Professionals that I have purchased. I love this shoe. I opted to get a size larger because the last time I bought them I remembered them being a little too snug at first (they later stretched out to accommodate my feet), and they didn’t have my size available. While my new shoes are a little big, they are still great. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day… these shoes make it easy to do. I highly recommend this shoe if you want comfort.

  29. Charlotte Says:

Worth Every Penny - I am a Flight Attendant and I am on my feet all day. I cannot begin to calculate how much money I have spent on shoes trying to find something that is comfortable and stylish. This is the shoe. I feel like I am wearing slippers to work.

  30. Brenda, Providence, RI Georgia Says:

I had bunion surgery on my feet years back yet I still suffer from pain in my feet even with high quality sneakers. I took a job at a retail establishment and was forced to be on my feet all day long. A friend of mine suggested Danskos and I took her advice. I love them! They are my favorite pair of shoes and I think once you buy your first pair and experience them, you’ll be addicted too. I’m now on here purchasing yet another pair ;)
