Really comfortable except for the stitching on the footbed - I bought these shoes and would have kept them had the footbed not had this really odd “river” of leather and stitching down the center of the shoe. This contrast stitching proved to be too irritating on my foot so I returned the sandal. Not sure why Dansko thought adding this purely decorative feature was necessary, especially considering how uncomfortable it made an otherwise stellar fit.
Dressy Birkenstocks?? As much as I love this shoe I need something a little dressier. The toe area was too wide for my medium/narrow feet and the buckle strap did not have a hole tight enough for my foot. Very comfy though and but wish they were narrower.
I ordered these shoes and had to return them. They are very cute and are similar to another pair of Danskos I have so I thought they would fit. Not only were they wide, but they were not very comfortable mainly due to the stitching on the footbed.
Awesome - These shoes are so comfortable. I took a risk and ordered them based on just looks, rather than all the other reviews on here. I don’t know if those people have walked on rose petals their whole life, but the stitching in the foot bed is undetectable… and I just got a pedicure, so it’s not because my feet are gross. Order these - you won’t regret it!
Nice shoe, but not a Lolita - After having worn Lolitas literally across Italy –TWICE, I went for a pair of Lorelei in a different color. The fit was nice, the support wasn’t as good as the other shoe, and I have NO IDEA why Dansko has suddenly decided that placing a pattern into the foot liner is a good thing. On some days, there is a constant awareness of this “wave”. These shoes are pretty, and comfortable, but will nevar be used for miles of walking like the Lolitas.

Lorelei - This Golden Gate Collection shoe has got to be the most comfortable all day shoe I have. What you wear on your feet is so important.
