I have had Dansko before and initially I used you recommendations for size which I returned because they were to big. These also feel big or too wide but I am leery to try the narrow. I work in an O.R. so I am standing all day, but I find the support good. It’s just when I am walking that they slide.
Walking On Heaven - This is the second pair of Dansko oiled shoes (one black, one brown) and I love them both. I had been suffering from achy knees because of stress on my feet and long periods of standing/walking but these shoes make me feel energized after a long day. I love the comfort in the toes and the support in the arch is really heaven on my feet. Because I have support and fit, my knees aren’t taking quite the beating that they used to, either. Try them and see if you don’t agree.
Great shoes after breaking them in - When I first wore these shoes I didn’t understand why people thought they were so amazing. They were heavy with no cushioning in the bottom of the shoe. The first day I wore them to work I couldn’t wait to get home to take them off. Then I went back to the Zappos site and reread the reviews. I learned to give these shoes time to break in. I wore them for short periods of time around the house and for running errands, etc. Finally I got used to them. Now I can wear them for two 12 hour shifts back to back (I am an ICU nurse) and I feel great. My back doesn’t hurt anymore, my knee doesn’t hurt, and the tendonitis that I was experiencing in my lower leg is going away. These shoes are quite amazing but they take some getting used to. I think it is well worth the money and effort. So many of my co-workers wear them and like them. I usually wear a size 8 (30). That size was way too small but ordering up a size worked for me. The 39 fits perfectly.
Hard shoe - This shoe is very comfortable!!! It is more of a winter shoe since it is so heavy and large. The good thing about the shoe is the arch support, look, how it’s made and the life expectancy. The bad things are that it is heavy and hard so if go for soft shoes this probably isn’t for you. I’ve also noticed if you don’t wear socks the shoe is generally more comfortable but it makes your feet sweat! It also isn’t a good shoe if you walk around alot of hills or cobbled streets because this shoe is very easy to loose your balance in because it rocks somewhat. But overall it is a great well made shoe.
I know when most people look at clogs they feel they are not the cutest shoes, but for someone who is on their feet all day, they are a godsend. My feet don’t feel swollen or fatigued after a day of wear. What more can you ask for?

As usual, perfect return and the new size was to me in about 2 days. They fit fine, but I think they take some getting used to and breaking in. I have flat feet and I’m not used to the arches. Simply the best shoe for those of us always on our feet - This pair is for our sister who’s having twins; she needs a strong shoe for her demanding days ahead. Simply the most superior shoe for professionals on their feet regularly - durable, comfortable, stylish, wear with anything, worth twice the price. My family owns well built shoes from Mephisto and others that do not compare to Dansko in overall quality. Cannot say enough great things about these shoes.
Great shoe - I just received this shoe today…I have had it on my foot now for about 5 hours…I am in love! I generally hate even wearing shoes, but these are soo comfy. I will be starting a new job August 1st where I will be on my feet, on concrete for 12 hour days so I knew I needed a great shoe. I am betting that these will do the trick. I ordered a 37 (7) which is my normal size, and the fit is perfect, which I was worried about after reading other reviews that recommended ordering a size larger. A bit pricey, but when you work on your feet all day, a good shoe is priceless!
Relief and support - I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for some time now, and have found I can wear these sandals all day long. They have enough arch support and enough cushion for me to really get some relief from foot pain. Also, the tread on them makes them perfect to do some light trails.
TOO, TOO COMFORTABLE!! I love my new Teva’s, my second pair as I wore out my 1st pair. My old Tevas walked me all over Okinawa last November, and my new ones recently walked me all over Yosemite, San Francisco and Monterey, California! The comfort cannot be beat! I especially appreciate the cushioned heel and the arch support. I love my Tevas, and I love Zappos!!!! Thank you!
Comfort & quality as expected - I wanted to buy Chacos because they are a local company and because of their buckle system, but went with the Tevas because they offer 1/2 sizes. I’ve had Tevas before & these are just what I expected. They are my favorite summer shoes.
Summer fun! I just love my new RED Tevas!! The last pair I had lasted me five years and these once look and feel even bettre! Don’t be afraid to order them half a size smaller than most shoes. Enjoy!!
A Must Have for summer - I got these shoes in the pink and am very happy with them. They are extremely comfortable and did not leave marks or hurt my feet the first time I wore them. Excellent for outdoor summer activities.
I love these sandals - I bought a pair of Teva’s about 12 years ago and the sole of the shoe finally started to split. I knew I wanted another pair of sandals but was not sure what kind. I read all the great comments about this shoe and they were all right. My old sandals rubbed on my little toe once in awhile, but these don’t do that and are very comfortable. I have never had a problem with the velcro with my Teva’s and I wear them a lot including in water.
I loved my Dansko clogs for years. I am a 12 hour working NICU Night Supervisor in a 62 bed unit. I did however have knee surgery and they do not work for me anymore. The new studies on knee’s shoe that the best shoes for osteoarthritis in knee’s are very flexible shoes which Dansko’s are not. This could have also potentiated the damage to my knee do to the hardness of the shoe per some Ortho surgeon’w. So just be aware that if you stand all day which I did in really hard non-flexible shoes it might actually be doing damage to your knee’s and possibly hip joints as well. On that note they still were the most comfortable shoes for my feet, but what is good for your feet apparently is not good for your knee’s…

I love these sandals - I bought a pair of Teva’s about 12 years ago and the sole of the shoe finally started to split. I knew I wanted another pair of sandals but was not sure what kind.
